Kalios Olive Oil 01 is made from the youngest Koroneiki olives. Harvested by hand in mid-November, this is just the beginning of the olive harvest season. This single varietal extra virgin olive oil is full of character, with intense fruity flavours and aromas and a final touch of pepper and hazelnuts on the finish. This oil meets the four criteria that gets it the acclaim it deserves. First, its perfect acid level (less than 0.35%!) gives this oil the extra virgin designation. Second, with production only using Koroneiki olives, it’s mono-variteal. Third, it’s cold-extracted which preserves it’s taste and health benefits.
